New iOS 14 Features Will Alert You When an App is Using Your Camera or Microphone

Apple has recently made some improvements to user privacy in their new iOS 14 update.

One of these changes includes new status symbols which will alert users when an app is using the microphone or camera in the background.

An orange dot will indicate the microphone is being used and a green dot appears when an app is using the camera.

The decision to make these changes was overall a move in the right direction by Apple.
