Mozilla Drops Appeal of FCC Net Neutrality Decision

The FCC’s decision to do away with net neutrality has largely affected us since it was finalized in 2017. Since then, we have seen things like paid prioritization and throttling by ISPs, despite the promises of FCC Chairman Ajit Pai.

According to recent reports, Mozilla has decided not to challenge the Supreme Court in appealing net neutrality.

“The deadline was July 6 and Mozilla signaled there would be no challenge in the high court.”

The company issued a statement on their blog stating “. . . And the court cleared a path for net neutrality to move forward at the state level. We believe the fight is best pursued there, as well as on other fronts including Congress or a future FCC.”
